For us personally, it was just a few months ago during our last vacation that we experienced one of the many Traveler's Nightmares.
We had booked an amazing place at an amazing location and thought "well, it will be alright, it's such a nice place and our children are going to love it too".
Well, when we got there, unfortunately, it did not flow anywhere near that at all.
Every afternoon we had to face the same complaints that "There's nothing to do here!" and "This is the worst vacation EVER!"—you know all the drama you should expect from young children.
But even before having our children, when we were just on our own, we went to many amazing places without any previous scheduling and after a couple of days we already started to feel...well, bored!
Yes, we were mostly the "Let's Explore!" kind of types but it still left us with a feeling of dissatisfaction, as if we could have experienced so much more and somehow, we didn't.
The Moment We Decided to Take Control
So, this year, we decided to take things into our hands and create our first Itinerary.
We invested a lot of our precious time researching online and trying to figure out how to create it based on our unique enquiries and preferences.
But during all those hours of research, a thought kept nagging at us...
